THE 2013 VINTAGE IS DRINKING BEAUTIFULLY AND WE ADVISE A BRIEF DECANT PRIOR TO ENJOYING. THE WINE IS STILL YOUTHFUL AND CAN BE CELLARED FOR AT LEAST TWO DECADES.

2010 PERFECT SEASON IS A RICH RUBY COLOR. THE AROMAS INCLUDE DARK RED AND BLACK FRUITS, CASSIS, JAPAPENO PEPPER, LAVENDAR, HARD SPICES, FRSEH MOIST PIPE TOBACCO AND FRAGRANT VANILLA. THESE FLAVORS FOLLOW THROUGH ON THE PALATE WHERE DARK RED FRUITS DOMINATE AND ARE WOVEN TOGETHER IN A WINE OF WELL-MANAGED AND INTEGRATED TANNINS. THE 2010 CLOSES WITH A REWARDING AND LINGERING FINISH. THE VINEYARD IS LOCATED ON BIDWELL CREEK ON THE WARM AND SUNNY EASTERN SIDE OF KNIGHTS VALLEY.
2009 PERFECT SEASON
LAST TASTED: OCTOBER 1, 2014
DRINKING WINDOW: NOW THROUGH 2027
2009 PERFECT SEASON OFFERS AN ELEGANT NOSE OF DARK RED FRUITS, FLORAL AROMAS, LIGHT CARAMEL AND A HINT OF DUSTY CHOCOLATE. AT FIRST BLUSH, PERFECT SEASON IS SHY BUT INVITING. THERE'S A BEAUTIFUL SWEETNESS ON THE PALATE WHERE THE FLAVORS BROADEN TO INCLUDE BLACK CHERRIES, CRUSHED BLUE FRUITS, A PLEASING AMOUNT OF FOREST FLOOR AND LIGHT ESPRESSO ROAST. ITS LUXURIOUSLY SILKY TEXTURE IS A PHILIPPE SIGNATURE, AND THE LASTING FINISH A SIGN OF A WELL-MADE WINE THAT SHOULD AGE GRACEFULLY FOR MANY YEARS.
